Plans for an 86-unit luxury branded condominium on Clearwater Beach were unveiled Thursday. The Viceroy Residences Clearwater Beach, set to open in late 2027, will be the first condo to rise on the beach in over a decade.
The condos will range from $2.5 million to $12 million.
Two nine-story waterfront towers will be built at 551 Gulf Blvd. The land is currently vacant, but from 1963 to 1990, it was home to the Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant.
The developers behind the project, BH3 Management and US Development, purchased the 3.2-acre plot for $24.75 million in February. It was the most expensive vacant lot ever sold on Clearwater Beach.
